Exercise & Health:

Each lesson will have a warm up and warm down period and the start and at the end. We will teach students how to stretch and make themselves flexible and agile. We will demonstrate ways and means to stay fit and the exercises will be stamina building and cardio workouts too. Each 45 minute lesson will enable the student to be able to have their balanced level of exercise and in manner where we maintain their minds as well as their bodies.


Try it Out:

Come to your first lesson and see if you like it. There is no obligation on you to start with.  Experience the first lesson and see if Karate is for you.

 

Parents Are Welcome:

The Temple Karate Centre is a family orientated club so Parents and Guardians are all welcome. Please stay for the lessons and watch your children enjoy themselves and develop. In fact, if you like what you see then why not join in yourself? We actively encourage family sessions as this is good for the children and good for you too. Just think of this as quality time together.

 

Refreshments:

Bring a water bottle to the classes. There will be a couple of breaks in the class where you will have a chance to relax and have a drink. You will be allowed to bring your bags into the gym. 

The Front Snap Kick has always been an effective strike for any Karate Practitioner. This is aimed at the stomach area of the opponent.  

A Side Kick with the edge of the foot is a strike that brings about accuracy and power at the same time. This particular kick is being aimed at the opponents knee.
